Composition : Each uncoated Tablet contains Cephalexin Monohydrate IP eq. to Anhydrous Cephalexin 300 / 600 mg
Dose : The recommended dose is 22 mg/kg of b.wt twice daily for 28 days.
Pharmacodynamics : Cephalexin acts by disrupting the growth of bacterial cell wall of gram-positive and some gram-negative bacteria. It is a β-lactam antibiotic within the class of first-generation cephalosporins.
Indications : Phexil Tab is indicated for treating pyoderma and other bacterial skin infections in dogs and cats. It is sometimes recommended for treating some urinary tract infections in cats and dogs. Phexil Tab is indicated for skin, ear, soft tissue, and urinary tract infections as well as respiratory tract infections, such as bronchitis.
Directions for Use : Phexil Tab can be given with or without food. If your pet vomits or seems unwell after receiving the medication, try giving it with a small amount of food.
Side effects : Most common side effects are diarrhea, vomiting, and loss of appetite.
Caution : Do not use cephalexin in pets that have a known hypersensitivity or allergy to cephalosporins. Use cautiously in pets with kidney dysfunction; lower doses may be necessary.
Storage : Store in a cool, dry place at room temperature.

Antibiotics
Enrosil is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic used for the treatment of animals. It is a bactericidal agent. The bactericidal activity of enrofloxacin is concentration-dependent, with susceptible bacteria cell death occurring within 20—minutes.
Composition : Each uncoated Tablet contains Enrofloxacin IP 50/150 mg.
Pharmacodynamics : It enhances bacterial gyrase enzyme synthesis. It inhibits the DNA synthesis and prevents DNA super coiling. It leads to cessation of bacterial respiration and cellular division.
Indications : Enrofloxacin is highly effective in the treatment of dogs and cats having bacterial infections associated with Respiratory tract, Urinary tract Gastro intestinal tract and Skin.
Dose : Dogs and Cats 5mg/ kg.b.wt. In Dogs the dose can be up to 5-20 mg and in cats, it is 5 mg only. The dose should be recommended by Veterinarian.
Side effects : The most common side effects of enrofloxacin are gastrointestinal effects such as vomiting, diarrhea, and lack of appetite.
Caution : Enrofloxacin should not be used in pets that are allergic to it, in dehydrated pets, in small and medium breed dogs under 8 months of age, or in large breed dogs that have
not finished their rapid-growth phase. It should be used with caution in pets with seizure disorders, or in pets with kidney or liver disease.
Storage : Store in a cool, dry place at room temperature.
