PANTOPET 20/40 Tab : Each coated tablet contains Pantoprazole 20/40 mg.
PANTOPET D20/D40 Tab : Each coated tablet contains Pantoprazole 20 mg & 10 mg Domperidone and Pantoprazole 40 mg and 30 mg Domperidone.
PANTOPET Inj : Each vial contains Pantoprazole 40 mg for IV injection.
Dose : Pantoprazole for Dogs & Cats: 1mg/kg per day for IV and oral route . Domperidone 0.5 mg/kg b.wt.
Pharmacodynamics : Pantoprazole is a PPI that suppresses the final step in gastric acid production by covalently binding to the (H+, K+)-ATPase enzyme system at the secretory surface of the gastric parietal cell. This effect leads to inhibition of both basal and stimulated gastric acid secretion, irrespective of the stimulus. Domperidone is both an anti-emetic and prokinetic agent. Domperidone is a peripheral and CRTZ dopamine receptor antagonist. It appears to be a better anti-emetic than prokinetic agent, having weak effects on GI motility.
Indications : PANTOPET is used to prevent and treat stomach ulcers and gastric acid related diseases in dogs and cats such as gastric and duodenal ulcers, gastrinoma and mast cell neoplasia. The duration of treatment is once a day for up to 8 weeks. Domperidone is a prokinetic drug in dogs and cats by stimulating the motility of the upper GI tract. Domperidone can be used to stimulate lactation in dogs and cats.
Directions for Use : Pantoprazole should be given to dogs and cats once daily orally or by IV Route only. Usually, the treatment with pantoprazole is short term not exceeding 8 weeks.
Side effects : Pantoprazole is usually well tolerated by dogs and cats, but can sometimes cause vomiting or diarrhea. If your dog or cat experiences any of these problems, please discontinue the drug, and notify us ASAP. Overdose could cause poor coordination, lethargy, and tremors.
Caution : Avoid usage in pregnancy and lactation period.
Storage : Store in a cool, dry place at room temperature. PANTOPET IV Injection powder after mixing with water, should be used immediately or kept in refrigerator and used within 24 hours.

Anti Ulcerants
Composition : Each 5 ml suspension contains Sucralfate USP 500 mg in a flavoured base.
Pharmacodynamics : Sucralfate works by creating a coating or barrier over the ulcer, protecting it from stomach acids and allowing it to heal.
Dose : The typical dose administered to Adult Dog is 250 -1000 mg . Small dogs and cats often receive 250 - 500 mg every six to eight hours.
Indications : Sucralfate is used in the treatment and prevention of oral (mouth), esophagus (food tube), stomach and intestinal ulcers. Sucralfate promotes healing in dogs and cats with ulcers or erosions (shallow depressions in the stomach lining). Sucralfate may be useful in preventing gastritis (stomach inflammation) caused by ulcerogenic drugs. Another use is in the management of acid reflux disease to reduce injury to the esophagus.
Directions for Use : Sucralfate is best given at least one hour before any food, or 2 hours before other medications. It can be gently squirted into the side of your pet’s mouth on the back of their tongue and then their mouth held closed until the entire dose has been swallowed.
Side effects : Sucralfate is safe. It can occasionally cause constipation, vomiting, and diarrhoea.
Caution : Use it with caution in pregnant and lactating Dogs and Cats.
Storage : Store in a cool, dry place at room temperature.
